Scheduling New Patients
Today’s tip is about new patient scheduling. It is very important when you schedule a new patient that you’re able to offer them an appointment time within 7 to 10 days of the day that they call you. When they call your practice, new patients have a high level of readiness for dentistry. So, it’s important to find them an appointment time in a timely manner. This also reduces your chances of the patient calling another practice that may be able to see them sooner. I recommend that you look at your schedule. and if you’re not able to accommodate new patients within 7 to 10 days, consider reserving time or blocking time, on your schedule just for new patients. When you have a new patient come into your practice with a high level of readiness for dentistry, that’s your ideal patient.
