The One Secret to Success in 2017

I work with so many dentists who are running a business, raising a family and they have so many things on their plate that they are trying to manage while still achieving their goals and growing their practices.

I want to give you a tip today to give you permission to get the support you need to really reach your full potential.

Sometimes staying busy or taking on too much and putting too much on your own plate can make you feel busy and make you feel like you are working toward your goals, but you're really just surviving. This doesn't give you time to focus on the things that will really help grow your practice and give you more freedom in your life.

I suggest you make a list:

  • All the things that take up your time that someone else could support you with.

  • This could be personal.

  • This could be professional.

  • Write down everything you're doing that you could delegate to someone else.

Take an honest look at this list and see how many of these things are just taking your time away from focusing on the things that will propel your practice forward and really get you to that next level, which will ultimately give you freedom in your life.

Once you look at the list, pick one thing and find a way to delegate that in a way that you know it's being taken care of to make room on your plate to really focus on the bigger picture of your practice.

Once you start to do this and eliminate items from your list, you'll find creativity comes back in, you start to feel more energized, and you are really able to focus on the future of your practice.

I hope this gives you a good start at creating more freedom and time in your life so you can really focus on your big picture goals.
